1 morning phone call from a wonderful Mexican
5 new songs written by a dear friend
1 crazy motivated cleaning spree
1 sweet and solidaritous red-haired Mennonite
10 000 veggies chopped into a salad
2 chocolate desserts
1 british movie involving soccer and Jonathan Rhys-Meyers
beer to taste
The only thing not accomplished last night was going out dancing. By the time we decided to go out, the rain had made up its mind to change to wet flurries and buffet us with horribleness as we wandered the streets. Kudos to all those club-goers and club-hawkers who actually stayed out. We pretty much ran home. Toronto clubbers meet Toronto weather, and we blinked first.
We were up today before 8am, which strangely I am quite happy about. It took me about 3 hours to get through Chapter 35 of Daniel Deronda, making notes and whatnot. Before retiring to my freshly-made lunch, I will make some general observations:
General Observations
Fresh air makes a body happy
Being up for a beer is a good quality in a person
Tuna is delicious
What is labelled "spicy" in the supermarket really isn't at all
Computer viruses are freaky
Cashews are genius in salads
My music collection is not bad
I need to be more tolerant of people
